*वर्तमान में गुजरात का जो स्वरूप दिखायी पड़ रहा है, वास्तव में पहले ऐसा नहीं था।* अगर आप सम्पूर्ण गुजरात का भ्रमण करेंगे तो आप पायेंगे कि वह पूर्णतः बौद्ध विचारधारा से आच्छादित है। बहुत सारे बौद्ध शिल्प जमींदोज कर दिये गये हैं। जैसा कि अभी कुछ समय पूर्व सोशल मीडिया पर बताया जा रहा था कि जहाँ पर सोमनाथ मन्दिर है संभवतः उसके नीचे 12 मीटर पर बौद्ध शिल्प के प्रमाण दबे हुये हैं।
चूँकि *सोमनाथ का मन्दिर समुद्र के बिल्कुल किनारे पर बनाया गया है तो हो सकता है कि किसी प्राकृतिक आपदा के कारण बौद्ध स्थान अस्त व्यस्त हो गये हों लेकिन गुजरात के अन्य हिस्सों में जो भी अवशेष बिखरे पड़े हैं उनकी दुर्गति करने वाले कौन लोग थे ? यह एक प्रश्नचिह्न है जिसे समझना और सुलझाना बहुत कठिन नहीं है।*
*मथुरा के बौद्धों के विस्तार से बुद्धिजीवी भली भाँति परिचित हैं। जो एक मिथक 16000 स्त्रियों के बारे में फैलाया गया है उसे भी सबको समझना पड़ेगा। मात्र इसी क्षेत्र में वैश्यावृत्ति और नाच गाना के माध्यम से अपनी जीविका चलाने वाले बृजवासिन के नाम से क्यों मशहूर किये गये ? क्या यह सत्य नहीं है कि बौद्ध धर्मावलम्बियों का सामूहिक कत्लेआम करके उनकी स्त्रियों के साथ दुराचार किया गया और दो चार पीढ़ियों के बाद वही कृत्य परम्परा बन गया।*
जिन्हें जोर जबरदस्ती घर से बेदखल कर दिया गया वही भविष्य में घुमन्तू जातियों के रूप में समाज में दिखाई पड़ रहे हैं। उनका पेशा ही अमानवीय हो गया क्योंकि भूख के कारण मनुष्य को सब कु्छ करना पड़ता है। कालान्तर में वही परम्परा बन जाती है। मिथकों में कृष्ण का ब्रज क्षेत्र से पलायन गुजरात क्षेत्र में दिखाया गया है।
*कृष्ण तो एक मिथक है ही, हो सकता है कि कोई और व्यक्ति जो पुष्यमित्र शुंग का कोई प्रतिनिधि भी हो सकता है जो ब्रज क्षेत्र से बौद्ध विरासत को तहस नहस करने के बाद ठीक इसी रूप में गुजरात क्षेत्र में स्थानांतरित किया गया हो क्योंकि जो अवशेष ब्रज क्षेत्र के आसपास बिखरे पड़े हैं ठीक उससे कहीं अधिक स्थान गुजरात क्षेत्र में नेस्तनाबूद किये गये हैं और यहीं से स्त्रियों के शोषण की प्रक्रिया भी गुजरात क्षेत्र में स्थानान्तरित होकर गयी है।
ब्रज क्षेत्र में उसे चाँदी के आवरण में लपेट कर रासलीला का नाम दिया गया है और गुजरात में उसे स्वर्णाभूषणों से सज्जित कर गरबा नाम से मशहूर किया गया है।*
*उत्तर भारत के इन कृत्यों का रूप दक्षिण भारत के क्षेत्रों में देव दासियों के रूप में मिलेगा। वैसे आप ध्यान से देखें तो सिनेमा जगत में भी देव दासियों की कोई कमी नहीं है। इन तमाम तरह की घटनाओं में विचार परिवर्तन के साथ साथ मूल समाज की स्त्रियों के शोषण का अस्तित्व आज भी निरंतरता बनाये हुये है।*
*आज की फासीवादी विचारधार के लोगों के पूर्वजों के कृत्य पूरे देश में हर जगह धीरे धीरे ही सही पर उजागर हो रहे हैं। यही वजह है कि गुजरात की पृष्ठभूमि से महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती (मूलशंकर तवारी) का उद्भव उसी छद्म विचार धारा को मजबूत आधार प्रदान करने के लिये सत्यार्थ प्रकाश के रूप में प्रतिपादित किया गया है।*
यहीं से शूद्रों के ऊँचे बनो के आन्दोलन की शुरुआत होती है जिसे *अमली जामा पहनाने के लिये खेतिहर जाति के डूँगर पटेल को चुना जाता है जो वर्तमान के अक्षरधाम के मजबूत आधार स्तम्भ बनाये गये हैं तथा तमाम तरह की काल्पनिक घटनाओं के क्रम को जोड़ते हुये उत्तर प्रदेश के गोंडा जिले के किसी स्वामी नारायण (परिवर्तित नाम) के नाम से इतना महिमा मंडित किया गया है कि उनके आस पास अथाह धन सम्पत्ति इकट्ठा करके हर तरह का कारोबार चलाया जा रहा है।*
ये डूँगर पटेल भी गुजरात की पृष्ठभूमि से लिये गये हैं। ये वही गुजरात है जहाँ अक्षरधाम के एक मन्दिर में नकली नोट बनाने का एक गिरोह पकड़ा गया था जिसमें मन्दिर का महन्त भी शामिल था। यह कार्य देश द्रोह और राष्ट्र द्रोह दोनों था। इसके तार बहुत ऊपर तक जुड़े थे लेकिन इसे ठंडे बस्ते में डाल दिया गया।
*इसे ही उत्तर भारत की राजनीति में श्री अटल विहारी बाजपेयी ने मायावती और मुलायम सिंह के बीच दरार पैदा करके काँटे से काँटा निकालने की प्रक्रिया के तहत अपनाया था। समाज के सामने काल्पनिक कथानकों के माध्यम से झूठा इतिहास परोसा गया है। सत्य के इतिहास की जड़ें बहुत गहरी हैं। इनकी परतें उघाड़ने का काम सम्पूर्ण समाज को मिलकर करना होगा तभी वास्तविक इतिहास को धरातल प्रदान किया जा सकता है।*
