*बनाम मूल निवासियों का विनाश*
हम अफसोस जाहिर करते हैं। हमें वेदना भी होती है। जब हम गरीबी में पले बच्चों के शरीर पर चीथड़े देखते हैं और किसी के शरीर पर चीथड़े भी नहीं होते हैं। वे नंगे बदन ही अपना पूरा बचपन गुजारते हैं।* अब ऐसे माहौल में पलने वाले बच्चे क्या कर सकते हैं जिनके पास जीने के लिये भी मूलभूत सुविधायें नहीं हैं। *प्रतीकात्मक दृष्टिकोण अपनाने वाले लोग समाज को इन्हीं हालातों में पहुँचाना चाहते हैं और हम हैं कि ऐसे लोगों को महापुरुष की श्रेणी में डाले रहते हैं।*
गुजरात की पृष्ठभूमि ऐसी ही है जहाँ हर तरह के व्यवहार में सौदेबाजी होती है।* शादी सम्बन्ध भी सौदेबाजी से अछूते नहीं हैं। स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती की पृष्ठभूमि भी गुजरात से ही है। *उस समय भी लोगों में ब्राह्मणवाद के खिलाफ आक्रोश नजर आता है।
उन्होंने आर्य समाज की पृष्ठभूमि से उठती हुई क्रान्ति की आग को ठंडा कर दिया था।* मूर्ति पूजा के विरोध में वर्ण व्यवस्था में छटपटाती हुई मूल समाज की जातियों को दिग्भ्रमित कर दिया था। जिससे मूल समाज का विकास सौ वर्ष पीछे चला गया था।
*जब बाबा साहब डॉक्टर भीमराव अम्बेडकर ने मूल समाज के विकास के लिये प्रयास करना आरम्भ कर दिया तो मोहन दास करमचन्द गाँधी बीच में आ गये।* अफ्रीका में वकालत करने वाला व्यक्ति वहाँ पर असमानता की लड़ाई लड़ रहा था। क्या सच है क्या गलत है ? कुछ कहा नहीं जा सकता है मगर लिखा ऐसा ही गया है। उसे भारतवर्ष में किसने और क्यों बुलाया था ?
*यहाँ भारत में शूद्रों को गुलाम बनाये रखने के लिये गाँधी ने क्या क्या नहीं किया?* शरीर पर एक धोती लपेट कर चलना दिखावे का एक नाटक हो सकता है। जो लोग गरीबी में बिना वस्त्रों के जीवन गुजार रहे थे उनके लिये वस्त्रों का प्रबन्धन करना आवश्यक था या स्वयं वस्त्र त्याग कर नाटक करना आवश्यक था। *उस समय भी मारवाड़ी बनिये को गोपाल कृष्ण गोखले जैसे ब्राह्मणों के इशारे पर भारत में बुलाना दूरगामी दृष्टिकोण का एक हिस्सा था।*
उस समय दलित आबादी को हरिजन कह कर सम्बोधित करने वाला व्यक्ति कौन था ? वह हरिजन के स्थान पर हरजन का भी इस्तेमाल कर सकता था। मगर ऐसा नहीं हुआ क्योंकि उस समय भी ऐसी शक्तियाँ काम कर रही थीं कि किन किन शब्दों का कहाँ पर कब कैसे इस्तेमाल करना है और क्यों करना है ? इस बात का निर्णय करतीं थीं।*
हरि शब्द विष्णु और आर्यों से सम्बन्धित है जब कि हर शब्द शंकर और मूल निवासियों से सम्बन्धित है। एक धोती में गाँधी जब कभी हरिजनों की बस्ती में जाते थे तो उससे पहले ही उस जगह का कायाकल्प कर दिया जाता था और प्रचार तंत्र आज की तरह ही उस समय भी काम करता था। *गाँधी ने जहाँ कहीं भी दौरे किये, पहनावे के अलावा उनके सारे ठाठ बाट राजसी ही रहे।*
कहानियाँ तो बहुत लिखी जाती हैं लेकिन हकीकत कुछ और ही होती है। *इस वेशभूषा में गाँधी चाहे जितने वर्ष रहे हों और चाहे जितने कम कपड़े पहने हों, लेकिन गुजरात की पृष्ठभूमि से आने वाले श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने उस कमी को काफी हद तक पूरा कर दिया है। एक दिन मे भिन्न भिन्न प्रकार की वेशभूषा बदल कर एक नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर दिया है।*
हम इसे नौटंकी या नाटकबाजी नहीं कह सकते हैं। *हाँ एक विकृत मानसिकता का दिखावा अवश्य कह सकते हैं।* उस समय की बुनकर जातियों के द्वारा बनाया गया कपड़ा जब मारवाड़ी बनियों के हाथों में पहुँचा तो इसे खादी का नाम दे कर काफी मशहूर कर दिया गया और ये इतना महँगा हो गया कि मारवाड़ी गुजराती बनियें तो लाखों करोड़ों में खेलने लगे मगर बुनकर तो आज भी बदहाली में अपना जीवन गुजार रहे हैं।
*गाँधी ने उस दौर में अपने बदन के कपड़े उतार कर समाज के जिन गरीब लोगों का प्रतिनिधित्व किया था, वर्तमान में उन लोगों के कपड़े इतनी बुरी तरह से उतार लिये गये हैं कि समझाना बहुत मुश्किल है।* अब वे कपड़े किसके बदन की शोभा बढ़ा रहे हैं यह किसी से छिपा नहीं है। *मूल निवासियों को गुलाम बनाये रखने के लिये जिस तरह के हथकंडे अपनाये जा रहे हैं उन्हें समझना बहुत जरूरी है।*
*कमाल की बात है कि संविधान के माध्यम से ही संविधान को ताक पर रख कर मूल समाज के रास्ते में जो काँटे बिछाये जा रहे हैं उससे मूल समाज के लोग तो प्रभावित हो ही रहे हैं पर सवर्ण समाज के लोग भी प्रभावित हुये बिना नहीं रहेंगे अथवा यों कहे कि प्रभावित हो रहे हैं।* वैसे सवर्ण समाज के लोग ऐसी नाकारा गतिविधियों में संलग्न नहीं हैं।
वैसे तो उन्हें भी अत्याचार की घटनाएँ प्रभावित करती हैं मगर जातीय अहंकार के कारण वे अपना रुख स्पष्ट नहीं कर पाते हैं। उन्हें घृणा करने की बातें विरासत में मिली हुई हैं। *वे सत्य को पहचानने में आज भी असमर्थ हैं। यही वजह है कि वे निराधार दोषारोपण करते रहते हैं और पीढ़ियों से वे अपनी दुर्दशा के स्वयं जिम्मेदार हैं।*
